How to Use Equipment
stacking cups

In this lecture, we will be introducing you to stacking cups and how they can benefit your child's development. Stacking cups are a fun and engaging equipment made up of several cups that can be stacked. By using stacking cups, children can develop their small muscles, concentration, and creativity. The hoop tunnel is a tunnel-shaped equipment that can help children develop large and small muscles through various activities such as crawling through and jumping on both feet.

When introducing stacking cups to children, it is important to make it fun and interactive. You can pretend to drink water or explain how to use the cups with fun actions. Asking questions to children and inducing answers is also a great way to encourage concentration.

Recommended scripts.

"What does this look like?"

"It’s a cup! What happens if I do this?"

"We can make a castle together. "

"Who wants to make a Giant castle with Me?"

It is always good for children to ask questions and induce answers.

Children's concentration and participation in classes increase through questions and answers.

After introducing the equipment to the children, make sure to remind them not to play with the cups or engage in other pranks. If the cups are broken or scattered, someone could get hurt by stepping on the pieces. Safety is our top priority, so let's all be careful.

A. Cup run

The first individual activity is Cup Run. The game involves running to a designated spot, picking up one cup, and returning it to the starting line. It is important to explain the rules clearly so that the children understand how to play. Ensure that the cups are spaced out enough so that the kids won't bump into each other while playing. If possible, drawing a line is also a good thing for safety.

Recommended scripts.

"We are going to move the cups from one plate to the other plate."

"(Name) runs to get one cup from the plate (pick up only one cup) "

"and run back to the plate. Keep running back and forth until all the

cups are on this side."

Always arrange children to have enough space to do activities.

B. 3-cup castle

The second individual activity is 3-Cup Castle. The game involves children going to a designated spot, stacking three cups each, taking them apart, and then returning. It is important to ensure that there is enough space for the children to move around while playing the game. This will help prevent accidents and allow them to enjoy the game safely.

Recommended scripts.

"We have 3 cups in front of us. Run to the cup and unstack the cups. "

"Put 2 cups at the bottom and 1 cup on top."

"Keep running and make 2 cups at the bottom and 1 cup on top."

"I need to make it into a stack of cups or piles of cups and run back again."

Always look carefully and lead the activities so that the children do not trip over.

C. 10-Cup Castle

The third activity is 10-Cup Castle. This is a cooperative game where two children work together to move cups from one place to another. One child takes a cup from a stack and delivers it, while the other child receives the cup and stacks it in a designated spot. The goal of the child who stacks the cups in the designated spot is to create a cup castle with a specific structure. They should stack four cups on the bottom row, three on top of those, two on top of those three, and finally one cup at the top. When completed, the stack will resemble a castle with a pointed top. Children can develop cooperation in the process of delivering cups.

Recommended scripts.

"Lilly runs to the cup, Go! Picks up ONE cup and runs to Tae-Oh

and starts building a castle. "

"Only bring 1 cup at a time and you're going to put 4 cups at the bottom,"

"3 cups in the 2nd row, 2 cups in the 3rd row, 1 cup at the top!"

Before starting the activity, ensure that there is enough space to prevent children from bumping into each other or getting hurt.

D. One Giant Castle

The fourth activity is one giant castle. This is a team activity that allows children to use their creativity and work together to build their own cup castles. The children are free to arrange the cups in any way they like, and can experiment with different designs and structures. The activity encourages teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Recommended scripts.

"We are going to make one Giant Castle together!!"

"You guys are on the orange team and you are on the Apple team."

"Can you step on the cups? No. Can you throw the cups? No."

"Can you break your castle? No."

"Everyone please be careful and don't break the castles!! Are you ready?"

Before beginning the activity, it's important to ensure that the children are aware of safety precautions. Be sure to instruct them not to throw, step on,  Emphasize the importance of being careful and respectful with the materials,
